The ladies of the Dawn of Life Christian Church are both Marys and Marthas. On Sunday afternoons, the ladies meet for Bible study and prayer for about an hour. In the past, Esther led the ladies into deep study of the Word. They were convicted of the fact that if they want an abundant and victorious life, they need to establish a very close and stable relationship with the love and Lord of their lives, Jesus. They need to learn to sit at the Lord's feet, listening to Him, just like Mary. Through their journey with Christ, they've met many obstacles but they took those obstacles to become opportunities for greater advancement in their spiritual growth.

Presently, a lady graduate of Chiangmai Bible Institute working with the Thailand Bible Society is teaching the ladies. The Marthas in the ladies inspire them to serve. They:

  • They take care of the physical church building by making it fit for worship services and meeting venue through cleaning and beautification.
  • They are responsible in providing food for Sunday lunches, refreshments for meetings and delegate work in the kitchen to young people and older children.
  • Participate actively in the church ministries of prayer, music, and outreach
  • They are the main force in the charitable works of the church by holding bazaars, to help educate poor and underprivledged children.

On most occasions, the ladies are overwhelmed by many responsibilities they have to do, sometimes to a point of complaining. We thank God that leadership of the church is always there to remind the ladies "that it isn't that the doing doesn't need doing, it's that the being must come first and then they'll find that the necessary part of doing will get done". -Jill Briscoe, Women's Devotional Bible.

The ladies however, enjoy their role in the church. They only desire to be in the center of the Lord's will and that their lives could be used for His glory.
