Virgilio is a 1967 graduate of Manila Bible Seminary with a Bachelor of Theology degree. He served as associate minister with the Cruzada Street Church of Christ in Manila from 1963-1970. Aside from pastoral duties, he also served as the managing editor of Christian Torch, a national journal of the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ in the Philippines, and a radio broadcast preacher.

Esther is a 1966 graduate of Far Eastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics degree. She served as a Sunday School teacher for children, pianist, choir member, and secretary of Christian Youth Fellowship at Cruzada Church of Christ.
Virgilio & Esther attended Ozark Bible Collge in 1979-1980. Married on May 8, 1965, they have four children, Tim, James, JohnMark, and Hannah.

James was born on January 15, 1969 in the Philippines. He spent his childhood in Thailand then finished highschool from Malaysia. He then completed college with a degree in Music Ministry from Ozark Christian College. He and Nerissa married on February 16, 2001 in Chiangmai. They both now are serving as missionaries and involved with different ministries in Chiangmai.

Nerissa was born on February 1, 1965 in the Philippines.  She graduated from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Holy Angel University and a major in Pastoral Theology from International Bible Seminary.  Also a certificate in Missionary Training and TESOL.  She then moved to Thailand as a missionary in 1997 and now serves together with James in the mission field. 

Hannah was born on September 3, 1980 in Chiangmai. She finished highschool at New Tribes Education Center in Chiangmai in 1998. She graduated from Assumption University in Bangkok, Thailand with a degree in Communication Arts-Advertising. She is now working with the mission and is the youth and young adults leader at Roong Aroon Christian Church in Chiangmai.

FORWARDING AGENTS/FIELD REPRESENTATIVES:

Donna Johnson has been serving as SALT's forwarding agent with Virgilio & Esther since December 2001. She resides in Jacksonville, Florida and is a member at Christ's Church Mandarin.

Shauna O'Brien has also been SALT's forwarding agent with Virgilio &Esther since December 2001. She and her husband, Jason, also reside in Jacksonville, Florida and are members at Christ's Church Mandarin.

Timothy was born in the Philippines. He grew up on the mission field in Thailand, then continued his studies in the U.S. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri and with an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology in Omaha, Nebraska. He married Rowena Garcia in December 30, 1993. Together they have a daughter, Rachel Anne, who was born on May 5, 2001.

Rowena was born and grew up in the Philippines. She graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines. Tim, Rowena and Rachel are residing in Jacksonville, Florida and are members at Christ's Church Mandarin. They continue to be SALT Ministries' field representatives.

John Mark John Mark was born in Chaing Mai, Thailand on September 28, 1977. After finishing high school at the New Tribes Educational Center (n.k.a. Grace International School), he moved to Manila, Philippines to continue his studies and pursue his interest in business. He is currently a full time student at the A.M.A. Computer University majoring in Financial Managment. He attends the Cruzada Church of Christ (the same church Virgilio served as an Associate Minister during the 1960's) and serves by being the official church photographer and violinist. He serves SALT by being its Philippine Field Representative.
