Statement of Faith

1. We believe that God, existing in three persons, is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe (Isaiah 43:10; Acts 17:24-28).
2. We accept the Bible as inspired Word of God sufficient guide for the Church and Christian life (2 Timothy 3:16).
   
3. That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead (Matthew 16:16; 1 Corinthians 15:18).
   
4. That forgiveness of sins and the promised eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16).
   
5. That those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him (Romans 10; Acts 3:38).
   
6. That the Church of Christ is the body of Christ on earth empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost and edify the saved Ephesians 4:16).
   
7. We believe in the weekly observance of the Lord's Supper (Acts 2:42; 20:7).
   
8. We believe that the only mode of baptism is by immersion for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16; Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38; 8:38-39; Romans 6:1-4, 1 Peter 3:21).
   
9. That Jesus will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and
   Lord of lords (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
